Moonflower Canyon Camping Area
Overview
This campground is located just outside of Moab and is conveniently located close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. This is a great place to camp if the campgrounds in the parks are full. Campground is located near popular rock art sites.
Moonflower features 8 walk-in tent sites. The sites are well-shaded and offer privacy. The camping area is within the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area (WSA). Campsites are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Numerous hiking trails are available from Kane Creek Road and River Road as well as in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.
Seasonality/Weather
Extreme heat is common in summer. Freezing temperatures in winter months.
