Overview

You'll reach this campground park, 25 miles north of Jordan, through the spectacular scenery of the Missouri Breaks landscape. On the Hell Creek Arm of Fort Peck Lake, this park provides facilities for most water sports as well as excellent walleye fishing. According to the World Almanac, Fort Peck Dam, MT is the largest embankment dam in the United States with the fifth-largest man-made reservoir. The vast size of Fort Peck Lake and its remoteness from major population centers provides a variety of high quality outdoor experiences including camping, boating, fishing, hunting, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Hell Creek also serves as a launching point for boat camping in the wild and scenic Missouri Breaks. The campground has a camp host, fire rings/grills, picnic tables, and a playground. Facilities with running water -- a fish cleaning station, RV dump station, drinking water, showers, and flush toilets -- are open May 15 to October 15.
