Overview

Off the beaten path just seven miles west of Flathead Lake, this park is shaded by Douglas fir and western larch. Lake Mary Ronan provides a quiet opportunity to pick huckleberries, hunt mushrooms, and spot interesting birds. Trails lead into the surrounding area which abound in wildflowers and wildlife. You can also fish, swim, and camp.

Lake Mary Ronan State Park offers 26 sites (no hook-ups), one group site, boating with boating ramp on 120 acres with an elevation of 3,770 ft. The maximum length of stay is 14 days during a 30 day period and pets must be on a leash.

The lake is stocked with salmon, trout, bass and perch. Fishing is excellent.

    A boat dock and concrete ramp provide access to Lake Mary Ronan for motorized and non-motorized boats.

  • Camping

    Lake Mary Ronan State Park offers 26 sites (no hook-ups). In Spring 2011, improvements are scheduled to be complete to include amenities such as electricity at individual campsites, paving of campground roads and spurs, a new and improved group camping area, new vault toilet and additional boat trailer parking. Until that time, the campground is closed; the park is restricted to day-use only.

    A picnic site with fire rings, grills, and picnic tables is available for visitors.
