Overview

The Whitefish Trail, a 22-mile trail around Whitefish Lake, is the result of a collaboration between Whitefish Legacy Partners, the City of Whitefish, the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, US Forest Service, Montana State Parks and private partners.

The trail consists of numerous trailheads providing access to Lion Mountain, Beaver Lakes, Skyles Lake, Spencer Mountain and Swift Creek; and future trail construction to include Swift Creek to Whitefish Mountain Resort and Haskill Basin, locals and visitors have a plethora of easy to locate and navigate recreational opportunities at their fingertips.
