Pay tribute to those who have served and died to preserve America’s—and the world’s—freedoms by attending Memorial Day observance events in Washington, D.C.

The National Memorial Day Concert by the National Symphony Orchestra will be held on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 24. The free concert will remember the sacrifices made by America’s servicemen and women. If you can’t be there, watch the concert live as it is broadcast on PBS.

This year's annual Memorial Day Observance pays tribute to those who served and died in Vietnam. The May 25 ceremony starts at 1 p.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and will include a Presentation of the Colors and a wreath laying.
