Navassa Island National Wildlife Refuge

Overview

Largely a marine resource, this refuge is also home to four endemic lizard species. The refuge serves to preserve and protect coral reef ecosystems and the marine environment, to restore and enhance native wildlife and plants, and to provide opportunities for scientific research.
