Gallagher Canyon SRA offers access to the 400-acre Johnson Lake. Primitive camping is offered on the 24-acre area. Gallagher Canyon offers good spring crappie fishing in the coves, as well as channel and flathead catfish. Drum and carp are common catches also. The area has a gravel boat ramp.
