Overview

A popular state recreation area south of North Platte, Lake Maloney State Recreation Area offer campsites with electrical hookups, a dump station, water, boat ramps, swimming, vault toilets, picnic tables, fish cleaning stations and grills. Maloney Reservoir is near North Platte, home of Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park. Campground has 132-acres on 1,000-acre lake. Facilities include 56 pads with 30 amp hookups, shower facility, dump station, water, boat ramps, swimming beach, picnic tables, grills and fish cleaning station. Camping is first-come, first-served.
