Platte River State Park

Platte River State Park

Platte River State Park is an innovative area, where the Commission has implemented some intriguing concepts in park lodging, management and design. This up-to-the-minute facility offers a wide range of activities and lodging choices, while keeping costs to a minimum. The park sits about halfway between the state's two largest cities of Omaha and Lincoln. The 418-acre park merged what were once three separate areas Harriet Harding Campfire Girls Camp, Camp Esther K. Newman, and a 104-acre wooded area.
