Visitors to Newt Graham have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors year-round. Spring offers the vivid pinks of the redbuds and the crispy white of dogwood trees bring life to the grays of winter. Summer is alive with the vibrant greens of oak, hickory, pecan, hackberry, sycamore and walnut trees. In addition, numerous birds and animals inhabit the lands in the area throughout the year providing interesting subjects to photographers and nature lovers. The seasonal variation on Newt Graham gives visitors a reason to come back again and again.

Five park areas are maintained on Newt Graham. Facilities include boat launching ramps, designated campsites, picnic areas, drinking water and sanitary facilities. Fishing and hunting opportunities are available on Newt Graham for avid sportsmen as well. Principal game species found in the area include: whitetail deer, dove, quail, squirrel, rabbit, turkey and several species of migratory waterfowl. Fishermen will find channel and flathead catfish, crappie, large-mouth and striped bass, various sunfish, carp, buffalo, walleye and bream.

    Day use fees apply for boat ramp.

    Offers 25 electrical hookup sites and 7 non-electrical campsites. All are open year-round.

    Fishing and hunting opportunities are available for avid sportsmen as well. Fishermen will find channel and flathead catfish, crappie, large-mouth and striped bass, various sunfish, carp, buffalo, walleye and bream.

  • Hiking

    Many beautiful migratory birds can be seen on hikes in this park.

  • Hunting

    Principal game species include: whitetail deer, dove, quail, squirrel, rabbit, turkey and several species of migratory waterfowl. Hunting and fishing activities are regulated by Federal and state laws and the same licenses are required as in other parts of Oklahoma.

  • Picnicking

    Picnicking is available at the campgrounds.

  • Water Sports

    While there are no swim beaches, visitors can enjoy water sports from their boats and on the lakeside at their own risk.
