Wentworth State Park spans 50 acres on the shore of scenic Wentworth Lake. Popular activities in the park include swimming, picnicking, hiking, and fishing. Amenities include picnic tables, a boat launch, flush toilets, and a group use area. Wentworth State park is a fantastic place for group or family fun outdoors in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting. The park has large grassy open areas perfect for outdoor sports like volleyball, frisbee, or softball. There are plenty of trees creating cool, shady spots perfect for keeping comfortable on hot summer days. There are areas for barbecuing to complete a perfect summer family outing. This park is always open for recreation; during the summer season there is a small entrance fee. All the facilities are available from mid-June to the beginning of September. During the off-season the park is typically not staffed and comfort stations are not available.

From I-93: Take Exit 15 to Route 4 east to Route 28 north. In Wolfeboro take Route 109 east and follow signs to Wentworth State Park.

From I-95: Take Exit 4 to Spaulding Turnpike/Route 16 north. In Wakefield take Route 109 west and follow signs to Wentworth State Park.

From I-91: Take Exit 3 to Route 9 east to Route I-89 south to Route I-93 north. Take Exit 15 to Route 4 east to Route 28 north. In Wolfeboro take Route 109 east and follow signs to Wentworth State Park.
