Bull's Island Recreation Area

Bull's Island Recreation Area covers 80 acres of land, located on Daniel Bray Highway (Route 29) in Hunterdon County, 7 miles north of Lambertville, New Jersey. The park is a part of Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. It offers family campsites, a boat launch, fishing, and a nature trail. The surrounding park includes a portion of the D&R Canal Trail, a multi-use trail built on an old railroad bed that runs north of the island and on the Delaware and Raritan Canal towpath south of the island. The family campground has flush toilets and hot showers. There is a boat launch at the Bull's Island Recreation Area for the Delaware River. There are no motor restrictions on the river, but all the New Jersey boating regulations apply.
