Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park
Overview
Encompassing 300 beautiful acres of bosque (riverside forest) along the Rio Grande, and 600 acres of adjacent Chihuahuan Desert, the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is a must-see. This day-use park is a refuge for wildlife and a haven for people seeing the quiet peacefulness of nature. Enjoy walking the trails that wind by native plant gardens, wetlands, high-grass meadows, and eroded bluffs. The visitor center incorporates green technology, including solar panels and adobe walls that help make it a premier environmental learning destination in southern New Mexico.
