Things To Do

This beautiful undeveloped lake, hidden among a forest of ponderosa pine and mountains, makes Morphy Lake State Park the perfect get-away spot. At the end of a three-mile road, located in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, plenty of camping, picnicking, and fishing opportunities await you. The lake is stocked with trout and is a great place to launch a canoe or kayak, while a hiking trail around the lake provides great access for anglers.
