Mississippi Wildlife Federation

The Mississippi Wildlife Federation was established in 1946 to advance the protection of wildlife in Mississippi. Over 50 years later we are working in a multitude of areas to conserve Mississippi's natural resources and protect our wildlife legacy. As you are no doubt aware, Mississippi is a remarkable place in terms of natural resources. We are blessed with a diversity of plants and animals. A mosaic of habitats ranging from deep Delta swamps to the Black Prairie to the Gulf marshes cover the State. We have opportunities for year around outdoor activities whether it is hunting or fishing, outdoor photography or preparing a backyard habitat.
