Harlequin Campground

The Harlequin Campground lies four and a half miles north of the Golden West Visitor Center on the western bank of Stehekin River. The facility consists of seven campsites, including a separate group site. This is a primitive facility, which includes fire pits, picnic tables and vault toilets. No drinking water is provided. All water obtained on site must be filtered, boiled or treated before consumption. Reservations are not accepted for individual sites, but a backcountry permit is required for use of this and all camping facilities in the Stehekin Valley. (Reservations are required for the group camping site.) These may be obtained at the Golden West Visitor Center. Harlequin is the closest camping facility to Rainbow Falls. It also provides easy access to backpacking, hiking and fishing.
