Overview

Cayuga Lake State Park's terrain is flat at lakeshore, where the beach and sun lawns are, then slopes gently uphill to campsites and cabins. The scenic highlight of the park is its expansive view of Cayuga Lake. In the shallow water near the park, largemouth bass, bullheads and carp thrive. In deeper water, anglers can catch northern pike, small mouth bass, lake trout, landlocked salmon and many other varieties of fish. The park has a boat launch, playground, playing field.

The vacation rental at Cayuga Lake State Park is located off Lower Lake Road on Cayuga Lake and is shaded by mature trees. The park provides lake rights, across Lower Lake Road, on the lake. Spacious grounds with picnic tables and a campfire ring adorn the property and a lakefront dock is available for tenants. The vacation rental has a fully enclosed porch with a view of Cayuga Lake. Indoor amenities include a dining room and counter space that can seat eight for meals, full kitchen with a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer & dryer, sink, flatware, plates, glasses, pots, pans, cooking utensils, one and a half baths, heat, hot water/shower, three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds), and a sleeper sofa (sleeps two) in the living room.   • Boating

    Boat launch open from Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day Weekend.

  • Camping

    The vacation rental at Cayuga Lake State Park is located off Lower Lake Road on Cayuga Lake and is shaded by mature trees. The park provides lake rights, across Lower Lake Road, on the lake. Bedding linen and towels are not provided. For further information please contact the park. Camping at electric sites from April 23-October 24 and at non-electric sites from May 7-October 11. Cabins and cottages available from April 23-October 2. This campground allows 1 night stays for campsites only. Each campsite allows either 2 tents OR 1 tent and 1 hard-wheeled camping unit. When booking cabins or cottages during the peak season the length of stay must be either 7 or 14 days maximum. During non-peak season cabins have a 2-night minimum stay. Only 1 pet per site is allowed. No smoking and no pets allowed in Full Service Cottage. Access Pass is NOT accepted for the Full Service Cottage at Cayuga Lake. Peak Season: Peak season runs from the end of June to the end of August. A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation. To rent a site you must be at least 18 years of age and occupy the site during the stay.

  • Fishing

    In the shallow water near the park, largemouth bass, bullheads and carp thrive. In deeper water, anglers can catch northern pike, small mouth bass, lake trout, landlocked salmon and many other varieties of fish. The park also has a boat launch. Ice fishing is permitted when conditions appropriate.

  • Picnicking

    Picnic tables are avialable throughout the park as well as picnic shelter pavillions which can be reserved.

  • Water Sports

    Swimming is available mid June- Labor Day weekend. Please call the park for hours.

  • Winter Sports
