Overview

Harnish Wayside Park and Visitor Center welcomes visitors to Eagle Point. Here, you can learn about the history of the town, as well as pick up visitor information about Eagle Point and the Upper Rogue portion of Jackson County. Visitors can also learn about the nearby Little Butte Creek at a special exhibit in the visitor center, which explains the importance of Little Butte Creek in the area ecosystem.

The adjoining park is a grassy oasis next to the creek with wildlife, natural riparian settings, picnic tables, benches, grills and a pet area. The wayside is a perfect way to pick up information and rest before you stop for a visit elsewhere in the community or Upper Rogue.

Seasonality/Weather

The center is open year round, Friday Saturday and Sunday. Hours of operation in summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
