Overview

Geisel Monument State Heritage Site encompasses the historic site of a Rogue Indian war skirmish, the park contains the grave sites of the Geisel family. It is a peaceful, secluded picnic area to enjoy, while traveling along Highway 101. The site lies on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is approximately an hour north of California's renowned Redwood National Park, which is home to the world's tallest trees.
