Overview

This 32 acre park includes a natural area, paved and unpaved paths, picnic tables, and hiking trails. George Himes was a pioneer Portlander. He was a printer and a historian. He was responsible for printing the early City Directories, which listed all Portland residents by address and occupation. Himes was also the curator and director of the Oregon Historical Society.
