Trail Highlights: The Sugar Creek Multi-Use
Trail is a network of looping trails that winds over
various types of terrain and through a variety
of tree types. Rides range from moderately
easy to more difficult. Connecting loops offer
users an opportunity to explore exciting outdoor
opportunities.

History:
This complex network of trails began in 1990
when a local group of equestrian riders became
interested in having trail access for horseback
rides.
Length: 36.7 miles.

Directions

From State Hwy 23 take Hwy 116
East of County Road 19. Turn south for 8
miles to Knoppers Ford Recreation Area. Go
south, past Knoppers Ford for ½ mile to Road
S30, turn left. Go approximately 1-¼ miles to
the trailhead parking area.
