Telluride Unearthed

Telluride Unearthed
Telluride Unearthed is a collaborative effort between Pinhead Institute, a Smithsonian Affiliate, and Telluride Historical Museum to provide an annual six-hour course that delves into Telluride's history through the lens of science.

Each year explores a different theme tapping into the expertise of visiting scholars from regional universities and national academic institutions.

The Telluride Unearthed program debuted in 2005 as a lecture series devoted to better understanding "Mining the Valley." The 2006 program focused on the "Utes of the Valley" and the 2007 program featured "Rails in the Valley."
