Is the road from Yellowston to the Tetons open for regular vehicles? We were there in 2009 and it was closed.

The road that connects Yellowstone and Grand Teton, the John D Rockefeller Memorial Parkway, is generally open to "regular vehicles" from spring to early winter. The road closes to these vehicles with the advent of winter, but is groomed and graded for over-snow vehicles (snow coaches and snowmobiles).
