Havasu Creek is often reported as one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the American Southwest.  In fact, the name of the local Havasupai means: "people of the blue-green waters" taken from the crystal clear waters of the creek. 

The creek heads from Supai, AZ and connects at the Havasu rapids of the Colorado River.  Check out this site (mostly on the waterfalls along the route) for more information
