Overview

Ralston Reservoir is formed by Ralston Dam, a part of the Shoshone Project, and is located offstream on the Garland Canal about 2-miles southwest of Ralston, Wyoming. There is no fishing. It is an excellent wildlife viewing area, especially for wetland and waterfowl species (ducks, pelicans, and sandhill cranes). Available services include an accessible bridge and walkway to a viewing area and restroom. No overnight camping. No drinking water. Waterfowl hunting in season with State license.
