Overview

The Mojave Desert, Colorado Plateau and Great Basin meet in the 45,000 acres of Red Cliffs NCA. This allows for unique plantlife found nowhere else on earth including the dwarf bear poppy and Shivwits milkvetch. The Mojave desert tortoise, an endangered species, is just one on the list of diverse wildlife in the area. Over 130 miles of trails are available for use by hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders. Developed areas offer camping opportunities.
