Overview

Brenton Point State Park takes up one the previously used grounds of Newport's grandest estate, providing its visitors with some of the most breathtaking views found on the East Coast. One can find the park at the point of land where Narragansett Bay meets the Atlantic, halfway along renowned Ocean Drive. Visitors can enjoy several recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing, picnicking, or just enjoying the stunning views of the Atlantic.
