East Bay Bike Path State Park
Overview
The East Bay Bike Path follows an abandoned rail bed running along Narragansett Bay. The plan to construct a path was supported because the path was soon to benefit Rhode Islanders from all walks of life by providing a gorgeous bike trail for users to exercise healthful lifestyles and to enjoy the beautiful coastline. The path's southern tip will eventually link-up to the Blackstone Bikeway, which is currently under construction.
Seasonality/Weather
Open year-round from sunrise to sunset. The path does not offer snow removal. New England weather is subject to rapid change. Temperature during the summer is 80-90s F, winter 20-40s F and spring/fall 50-70s F. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for outdoor activities, based on the season.
