Become acquainted with the park through its program of guided walks, campfire talks, and other services. Pick up a schedule at one of the visitor centers. The staff at the visitor centers can help you plan your time in the park.
The Kawuneeche Visitor Center is located at the west entrance to the park, along Highway 34, just north of Grand Lake. This Kawuneeche Visitor Center and the Park Headquarters, west of Estes Park are open year-round.

Directions from Grand Lake: Travel north on Hwy 34 about 1 1/2 miles to the Kawunechee Visitor Center, just inside the park boundary.
