A flowered field is all that remains of this once booming mining town. Pass by the remains of log cabins and look for tailings from Shipler Mine about 2 miles into the trail. The trail parallels the Colorado River and passes meadows on this easy to moderately difficult 7.4-mile round trip hike. (350?gain)
