Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail

Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail is a gentle walk down a path along a small stream for 0.3 mile. The trail ends at Champion Lodgepole Pine, one of the largest known Lodgepoles in California. Adjacent to the trail is a beautiful meadow, which is a tapestry of wildflowers in the spring. The easy and short loop of Bluff Mesa Trail begins where Champion Lodgepole Pine Trail ends.

Located on the south side of Big Bear Lake, a scenic 45 minute drive from the Discovery Center (including 30 minutes on unpaved roads).
