Overview

This small, quiet park is a great get-away for those seeking to relax. With lake access between Pease Creek and Platte Creek, visitors can spend their days on the water and their night relaxing in the campground. North Wheeler provides excellent opportunities for fishing. Two picnic tables along the water's edge allow visitors to relax on the shore and enjoy the view of Lake Francis Case. The park's small campground has twenty-two sites that are all available on a first come, first-served basis. This makes North Wheeler a great destination for a spontaneous trip to a park.

    First come, first-served camping makes North Wheeler an excellent park for a last-minute camping trip. The park features a basic campground with 22 sites, 15 of which are electrical.

    Visitors catch walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, and catfish. A fishing license is required. The park has a fish cleaning station.

  • Picnicking

    There are two picnic tables on the lake's shore.
