Overview

Walker's Point Recreation Area is tucked along the shore of Lake Madison. This small but complete park meets the many needs of campers and anglers. Campsites are located near the water and many offer picturesque views of the 2,800-acre lake. Anglers enjoy both on and off shore fishing on Lake Madison. Visitors can expect to catch bullhead, crappie, northern pike, perch, and walleye. A boat ramp and an accessible fishing dock ensure everyone a chance to catch the "big one." Visitors can rent canoes and kayaks. In addition to the small campground, there are two camping cabins. There is an accessible picnic shelter on the shore of the lake with great views of the water. There is also a beach for water skiers.
