Sequoia National Park offers guided lantern tours

Lantern tours of the General Sherman Tree in Sequoia National Park are being offered throughout the months of July and August, organizers announced.

The evening sessions set for 8-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Tuesday and July 28 and 30 and Aug. 6, 11, 15, 20, 25 and 27 will take place at the foot of the General Sherman Tree and feature a twilight walk through the Giant 'Forest.

Tickets are available at the Wuksachi Lodge and are $15 for individuals, $30 for a family of four.
