This trail leads through the Marble Fork Kaweah River canyon to Marble Falls. It lies in the foothills region of Sequoia National Park, which consists of dry, lower elevations covered in chaparral. The trail is moderately difficult gaining 2,000 feet of elevation along its course.

The trail to Marble Falls begins in Potwisha Campground near campsite number 16. Look for the sign marking the trailhead, on the right, after crossing the cement water ditch. The trail begins with a short, steep climb over switchbacks. This is the most difficult part of the trail.

Once atop the initial switchbacks you're in the Chaparral. This plant community is made up of small, bushes and shrubs that thrive in dry conditions and are regenerated by fire. Also thriving in this community are ticks and rattlesnakes so take care.

The trail leads north through Deep Canyon gaining elevation steadily through a series of small dips and climbs. Three and a half miles from the campground the trail turns sharply toward the river and the falls. A small spur trail leads to the right before the main trail reaches the river. Take this non distinct route for an interesting perspective of Marble Falls.
