This group campground is located in the South District of the Shenandoah National Park. It is open May 2nd through November and requires a $30 per day fee. There are 7 sites with pit toilets and water. There are no RV hookups available. Pets permitted. Loft Mountain Information Center is north at milepost 79.5 providing gasoline, food service and camp store.

Directions from Front Royal, VA: Skyline Drive travels the entire length of Shenandoah National Park. Mile markers are placed along the right-hand side of the road heading south. They are numbered from north to south beginning at the northern terminus in Front Royal, Virginia. Facilities, trails and park features use the mile markers as points of reference. Campground is located at mile 83.7 in the Central District.
