South River Falls Trail

South River Falls Trail takes you on a 2.6-mile round-trip hike. The trail is considered moderate with a modest change in elevation. It is through a beautiful dense forest where during the spring the path is laced with perennials. It travels a series of switchbacks at which point you'll hear the tumbling water. The trail ends at a natural observation deck and guard wall. The spot is large enough to relax, watch the falls and enjoy a picnic lunch.
