Abrams Falls is a 5-mile roundtrip hike. The trail begins in the back of Cades Cove loop road and is a moderate hike. Abrams Falls has the largest water volume of any park fall, and is among the most photogenic.

Directions from Gatlinburg: Travel west on Little River Road for approximately 8 miles. The road will turn into Laurel Creek Road, continue west for approximately 4 miles. This will take you to Cades Cove Loop Road, follow the loop approximately 2.25 miles and the trailhead will be on the right.
Directions from Townsend: Travel east on Hwy. 321 and turn south on Hwy. 73. Proceed approximately 0.5 miles and turn right onto Laurel Creek Road. Travel west around Cades Cove Loop Road. Turn on road between markers #10 and #11. This road will lead you to the trailhead.
