Anthony Creek Trail is a strenuous 3.5 mile trail. This is Cades Cove's easternmost trail. It begins in the Cades Cove picnic area. The trail follows Anthony Creek to its headwaters. After another mile the path merges with Bote Mountain Trail. Destinations include Spence Field, the Appalachian Trail, and Rocky Top. Rocky Top holds one of the Park's best vistas.

Directions from Townsend: Travel east on Hwy. 321 and turn south on Hwy. 73. Proceed approximately 0.5 miles and turn right onto Laurel Creek Road. Travel west around Cades Cove Loop Road and park at the Cades Cove Picnic Ground Vehicles must leave the area one hour before sunset. To stay overnight, park by the ranger station.
