This little used 10.5 mile trail begins four miles from the loop entrance. It was once used for easy access to Cades Cove. It is a level, easy path. The trail ends at the Park boundary, but many hikers turn around earlier.

Directions from Townsend: Travel east on Hwy. 321 and turn south on Hwy. 73. Proceed approximately 0.5 miles and turn right onto Laurel Creek Road. Travel west around Cades Cove Loop Road. The trailhead is approximately 4.5 miles from the beginning of the loop.
