It's Official: Lady Liberty's Crown to Reopen to Public on July 4

Starting July 4, the Statue of Liberty’s crown will once again be open to the public!

The National Park Service announced this month that starting on Independence Day, visitors will be able to enter the Lady Liberty’s crown, which has been closed since the 9/11 attacks more than eight years ago.

Access to the crown will be limited to 10 people at a time, guided by a park ranger. The National Park Service formulating a plan to distribute tickets and we’ll keep you updated as information is made available to us.
