Overview

125.65 acres along Cottonwood Creek. Amenities include: open space, wildflowers, hike and bike trails, picnic tables, barbecue grills, drinking fountains, playground, baseball/softball fields, pavilions, horseshoe and washer pits. At the south end of the park is The Edge Skate Park (201 E St. Mary Drive) which contains one of the largest concrete skate parks in Texas, BMX track, in-line hockey rinks, and indoor Visitor Center. At the north end of Allen Station Park (north of Exchange Pkwy on Cottonwood Creek) is Allen's 1874 Houston and Texas Central Railway water station site which was listed as the "Allen Water Station" on the National Register of Historic Places in December 2009.
