At Riverbend Park you can experience a wilderness-like environment rich in wildlife and active recreation. Located along the scenic Potomac River in Great Falls, VA, 10 miles of trails await you, including a portion of the Potomac Heritage Trail. Take to the river and launch your own small craft or rent one of ours (mid May - mid October). Stop in the visitor center and our exhibits and naturalists can tell you more about the wildlife, geology, and American Indian history in the park. The National Association for Interpretation (NAI) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing the profession of heritage interpretation, currently serving about 5,000 members in the United States, Canada, and over thirty other nations. Individual members include those who work at parks, museums, nature centers, zoos, botanical gardens, aquariums, commercial tour companies, and theme parks. Commercial and institutional members include those who provide services to the heritage interpretation industry.

Our Mission is to inspire leadership and excellence to advance heritage interpretation as a profession.
