Tucked away in Cache County, Hyrum State Park offers many recreation opportunities including fishing, boating, and camping. Surrounded by tall, shady trees, Hyrum provides an excellent place for an afternoon picnic, or spend the whole weekend trolling on the lake catching yellow perch, rainbow trout, bluegill, and largemouth bass.

Park Hours: Summer: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Winter: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Holiday Closures: Thanksgiving, Christmas

  • Camping

    Tent and RV sites are both available for users. Showers, toilets, and drinking water is all provided. Group sites also in the park.

  • Fishing

    Yellow perch, rainbow trout, bluegill, or large mouth bass are all found in the waters here.

  • Picnicking

    Group pavilions are available.

  • RVing

    There are RV sites available.

  • Water Sports

    Great place for kayakers or canoeing. Motorboats are also allowed.

  • Winter Sports

    Ice fishing is the most popular winter sport.



Hyrum State Park is located within the city limits of the town of Hyrum. The park is located eight miles southwest of Logan on Highway U-165.
