Car
From the Capital Beltway
Take exit 45 to Route 267 West/Dulles Toll Road. Follow signs to local exits, pay 75 cent toll, and exit at the Wolf Trap ramp. It is clearly marked Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The park will be on the right.

From Downtown Washington, D.C.
Route 66 West. Follow signs to Route 267 local exits, pay a 75 cent toll, and get off at the second exit. It is clearly marked as Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. There is no eastbound exit off of the Toll Road to Wolf Trap.

From Tyson's Corner/Falls Church
Route 7 West. Turn left on Towlston Road, drive one mile and the park will be on the left.

From Manassas Area
Route 66 East. Exit onto the Capital Beltway (exit 64B) going North towards Tyson's Corner. Take exit 12 off of the Beltway to Route 267 West/Dulles Toll Road. Follow signs to local exits, pay 75 cent toll, and exit at the Wolf Trap ramp. The park will be on the right. NOTE: There is no eastbound exit off the Dulles Toll Road.

From Fairfax/Burke/Vienna Area
Take Route 123 to Vienna. Make a left onto Beulah Road.* At 4-way stop go straight onto Trap Road. At "T" in the road (second stop sign) take a left, continuing on Trap Road, cross over the Dulles Toll Road. The park will be on your right.

*Please note: Construction at Beulah Road. Please follow signs for detour.

Operating Hours & Seasons

The park is open to the public from 7 a.m. to dusk every day with the following exception: the park is closed to public visitation which is not performance related during park festivals and Filene Center performances to avoid conflict among visitor use activities. This public use limit also includes the two hours prior to and one hour following park festivals and Filene Center performances.

Fees & Reservations

Tickets for performances at the Filene Center and the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods can be purchased on-line at www.wolftrap.org or by phone at 1-877-WOLFTRAP or in person at the Filene Center Box Office.

Filene Center Performances:
Ticket prices vary by show. NOTE: Golden Eagle Pass not applicable for performance tickets.

Theatre-in-the-Woods Performances:
Tickets are $5 each for one show and $8 for both shows on the same day for everyone ages three and up. NOTE: Golden Eagle Pass not applicable for performance tickets.

There are no parking fees at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.

Public Transportation

The Wolf Trap Metro Shuttle Bus Express provides service to all Filene Center shows (except the International Children's Festival). The Wolf Trap Metro Shuttle Bus Express leaves the West Falls Church Metrorail Station every 20 minutes starting two hours before each performance. The last Shuttle leaves the station at showtime. Round trip fare is $5.00 per person (exact change required). The Shuttle Bus is wheelchair accessible.

The Shuttle departs Wolf Trap 15 minutes after the performance ends, or 11:00 p.m. whichever comes first. ** Please note: In the event the performance runs past 11 p.m., the Metro Shuttle Bus will leave the park before the show ends.**

There is no metro service for performances at the Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods.

Getting Around

Cart Assistance

Filene Center Performances:

Prior to performances, cart transport is provided from the East and West Parking Lots to the Main Gate as well as to other lots and venues in the park starting two hours before each performance. The carts are driven by park volunteers who provide cart service until 15 minutes after the performance starts. These cart rides are a ONE-WAY trip.

After performances, because of safety concerns, cart transports are provided ONLY for persons with accessibility needs.

Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods Performances:

Cart assistance is available ONLY for persons with accessibility needs.

Accessibility

The Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods has general seating. Handicapped seating can be reserved after tickets have been purchased. Please call (703) 255-1824 for special seating.

Filene Center: Traffic operations are directed by the United State Park Police and NPS Rangers. Please indicate to these personnel that you need accessible parking and they will park you as close as they can at the time that you arrive. For more information, call (703) 255-1820.

Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods: Traffic operations are directed by NPS Rangers. Please indicate to the ranger that you need accessible parking and close parking and/or a cart ride will be provided.
