Yellowstone, Tetons a photographer's paradise

It was a particularly cold morning as I walked along the mist-covered banks of the Yellowstone River. The sun was barely visible on the horizon but its rays were already penetrating a line of fog-shrouded trees by a small meadow. Across the river stood an old bull bison, coated white with early morning frost. The distant sound of a howling wolf drifted down the valley. A mature bald eagle sat at the top of a tall tree on the riverbank, eyeing the water in search of that morning's catch. And on a nearby ridge there was a large bull elk, its head. Read more...
