Indian Creek Campground

The Indian Creek Campground is located seven miles south of Mammoth Junction. This beautiful but more primitive Yellowstone campground has 75 campsites. Water and pit toilets are available, but there are no shower or laundry facilities. The nearest showers or restaurant is located at Mammoth, and the closest laundry facilities are at Gardiner.

You can collect downed and dead wood within the campground for campsite use, but no chainsaws are allowed within the park. Local activities include fishing, hiking trails and scenic and wildlife viewing.

Operating Dates: Early June through mid-September
Fees: $12 per site, per night
First come, first served; reservations not acepted.


From Gardiner: Travel south on Hwy. 89 for approximately 8-10 miles. The campground is on the right side of the road.
