Bridalveil Falls Trail

The trail leading to Bridalveil Falls is one of the most heavily used in the Yosemite Valley area of the park. Because of it's heavy use it is best to begin this trail early in the morning before most park visitors arrive. The trail begins from the Bridalveil Falls parking area along eastbound Southside Drive.

Follow the trail from the east end of the parking lot for a few minutes to a trail junction. At this junction bear right on a signed trail for Vista Point. This fork parallels a Bridalveil Creek Tributary and leads to the overlook of the falls. The route to the overlook is paved and suitable for individuals in wheelchairs and strollers. The overlook is wet with spray from the falls, so bringing rain gear is a good idea. The total mileage for this route is a half mile.

Begin at the Bridalveil Fall parking area

A paved trail leads from the parking area to the base of this waterfall, which flows year-round. Walk back to the parking area via the same trail. Expect lots of spray in spring and early summer; you may encounter icy conditions in winter.
