El Capitan, a massive granite monolith,
stands 3,593 feet from base to summit.
From spring to fall, climbers come from
all over the globe to scale El Capitan.
Note: Please park on the paved road
shoulder next to El Capitan Meadow.
Delicate meadows are easily damaged by
trampling, so please stay on footpaths.
