Sunnyside Campground

Sunnyside Campground lies at an elevation of 4,000 feet in the northwestern area of Yosemite Valley. The facility is open to tent camping year-round with 35 sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Although reservations are not accepted campers are recommended to come to this site close to 10 a.m., which is check out time. This site provides easy access to climbing routes and hiking trails. Each campsite at Sunnyside includes a fire pit and picnic table. Campground amenities are as follows: drinking water and flush toilets. There is limited parking at this campground and each site can accommodate one care and up to six individuals. Laundry facilities and showers are located nearby in Yosemite Village.

Directions

Directions from Arch Rock Entrance: Travel east into the Park and bear right on to Southside Drive. Follow Southside Drive eastward to a bridge leading to the Valley Visitor Center and park headquarters. Once on Northside Drive follow it westward to Sunnyside Campground.
